Mietta's Review
Glebe Books, long an icon in the area, has
been joined by Sappho books and together they dispense knowledge and
assurance to the readers of Sydney's inner west. However, as well as books
Sappho has secreted a lovely cafe behind the shelves at the back. It's an
oasis of semi-tropical greenery that pushes out from the open glass doors
of the building to descend gracefully through several levels of terrace. A
wonderful place in which to feed the body and the soul away from the
tension of urban life.
