Folk Night with Josie Hurley, Atticus Flynn, & Harriet B

29 May 2025 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Josie Hurley

Josie Hurley is a Chamber folk musician aiming to combine vulnerable, spiritual, emotive lyrics with jazz chords and orchestral arrangements to create an alluring world of peace and presence. Inspired by artists such as Joni Mitchell, Fiona Apple, and Adrienne Lenker, josie’s solo set contains interesting guitar tunings to create a harmonically rich world tackling themes of intimacy and identity. Josiren plays the Violin Bass and Guitar and this trio of instruments lie at the heart of her songwriting. Coming from a philosophy background, the songs tackle deep existential themes and are always reaching out into the beyond, where a new kind of tenderness lies.

Atticus Flynn

Blending the grit of classic soul with poetic folk lyricism, singer-songwriter Atticus Flynn crafts an intimate, grounded sound. He weaves themes of love, loneliness, transmasculinity, and a deep reverence for the natural world into a rich, soul-folk tapestry. Naarm-born and now based on Gadigal land, Atticus’s music gently envelops listeners — raw, vulnerable, and full of heart.
Harriet B

Harriet B provides the audience with alternative rock that is dripping with nostalgia, pearls and a pensive attitude. Born and raised on Darug land, she is heavily influenced by the bushland and artists such as Courtney Barnett, Phoebe Bridgers, Julia Jacklin and Jeff Buckley.

Entry is FREE and the bar will be open from 5:30pm.
