Jean Elliot is a new young indie-folk artist from Sydney’s West. A wistful voice atop lush acoustic sound, the singer’s heart is full and ready to spill all her secrets in soft, ‘tell-all’ singer-songwriter tunes. With previous releases solidifying her lyrical aptitude and self produced style, her latest song duology ‘Something Is Rotting’ is a scathing but vulnerable entry into her catalogue. Elliot’s mellow sound will mesmerise you, but her clever lyricism will force you to look inward.
