Josh Jones

As an artist Josh Jones is a classic ‘triple threat’, he can play a mean guitar, he’s a dynamic vocalist and he can stand. After spending years in Sydney’s greatest and dingiest bars preforming with various blues bands including The Shooters Party and The Heretics, Josh Jones is now branching out as a lonesome solo act.
Presenting a blues and folk review Josh Jones will be interpreting old standards and preforming originals. It will be a veneration of the dead and a celebration of the greats of old including R.L. Burnside, John Lee Hooker, Rambling Jack Elliot and Dave Van Ronk. With a mix of acoustic and electric tunes it is a performance guaranteed to be acceptable to all.
