Leah Tess and Veronica King

Leah Tess is a singer-songwriter from London, who recently moved to Sydney. Her music has been described as folk/pop with ‘unique melodies and innovative soundscapes’. She studied songwriting at ICMP in London and during her time there, won an international songwriting competition in Paris with her song ‘Oblivion’ and shortly after travelled to Nashville to play and attend Tin Pan South songwriters festival.

Leah has performed multiple times at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland and wrote the musical score for her friend’s sell out show ‘Unknown’ in 2019 and her music has featured on BBC Radio Introducing across the UK. Leah loves performing live and has played festivals and gigs around the UK. Leah draws on themes of nature in her songwriting; her musical inspirations include Dolly Parton, HAIM, Birdy, Fleetwood Mac and First Aid Kit.

Leah will also be joined by Veronica King. Veronica King is an extraordinary musician known for her unique blend of acoustic R&B and pop. With captivating vocals and introspective lyrics, she invites audiences on a journey of self-discovery and emotional connection. From her early beginnings as a performer at open mic nights in the UK, Veronica has honed her craft and developed a dedicated following. Her latest single, “Vanilla,” showcases her witty and relatable storytelling, resonating with listeners on a deeply personal level. With an upcoming EP on the horizon, Veronica’s live shows promise to be an immersive experience, transporting audiences into her nostalgic creative vision. Drawing inspiration from artists like Stevie Nicks and Lana Del Rey, Veronica King brings her eclectic sense of style and infectious stage presence to each performance, leaving an indelible impact on all who have the pleasure of witnessing her talent firsthand.
