About the Book: Queer writer Nadia Alexandra Jones makes her debut with this gripping collection of poems about her struggles with mental illness, her first loves, and her family life. Her introspection and questioning of the world around her provide a unique window into her soul as she tackles themes of connection and insanity, exploring her own battles with mental illness, abuse, and being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.
About the Author: Young queer writer Nadia Alexandra Jones, from Sydney, Australia, seeks to illuminate in her work the struggles faced by those suffering from mental illness. Born into a family of four girls, Nadia has spent her life grappling with bipolar disorder, abuse, and the difficulties of finding her place in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Entry is FREE and the bar will be open from 6pm.
