Emma Driver

Emma writes songs and sings them, plays guitar and keys and harmonica, and also likes a chat. She’s played solo and in duos, trios and bands for 20+ years, and until 2025 performed with Walking Deads, Sydney’s Talking Heads tribute band. In this role, she sang key phrases like ‘Burning down the house!’, danced in an age-appropriate way, and played  underappreciated solos on a percussion pad – also known (by no one else) as the DigiBongos. Her original songs have been called ‘conversational’ and ‘authentic’ by trustworthy people who didn’t owe her any favours.
